I thought I would give everybody a sneak peak on one of our newest parts. This is a photo our forging company just sent of a few of our parts that are coming out of the forging line. These are forged out of 1045 steel at 85 tons of force. For those of you who are not familiar with steel the 1045 steel is what most forged steel crankshafts are made out of. We will have our run of forged parts by the end of next week for us to start the machining process.

You are probably wondering what this is. We have designed a replacement end to make our adjustable panhard rod a modular system. These ends are going to be a direct replacement in terms of dimensions to replace any 3/4" spherical rod end. What we are doing with these is allowing our customers to choose an adjustable panhard rod with either Poly/Poly, Poly/Rod, or Rod/Rod ends. The great thing about these is if you choose a Rod/Rod panhard rod and you don't like the extra noise and are willing to give up slightly on performance you can simply order one of these ends and it will be a direct bolt-in replacement. Basically what we are doing is creating a system which allows you to change from rod to poly or poly to rod without the need to purchase a new panhard rod. We will be doing the machine work as soon as they show up and from there they will go to the thread rolling company to roll the threads instead of cutting them like most suspension parts use. Rolling the threads creates a stronger thread because it displaces metal instead of cutting it. We should be ready to ship these toward the beginning of October. If you have any questions feel free to ask away.
