Due to very high inventory levels of the Vogtland sport lower springs we have decided to put them on sale again. The kit on sale is the V6 leveling kit and the standard GT kit. The leveling kit will lower the V6 on average .8 inches in the front and 1.2 inches in the rear. The GT standard kit will lower the GT on average 1.2 inches front and rear. They will be on sale for $177.50 which includes free ground shipping to the lower 48 states. The sale will run until our inventory levels get back in check on these kits. Feel free to email or PM us with any of your questions.

Don't we need camber plates and bump steer after we lower are s197 in order to make things work right?

The camber plates are not required but we do recommend them. The only time bump steer will change is if you add or reduce caster or make suspension point changes. Bump steer is the relationship between two lines. What you want is the lines from the center pivot of your control arms and center pivot of your ball joints (ball not the stud) to be parallel with the center pivot (ball) of the inner tie rod to the center pivot of the outer tie rod. If they are parallel you most likely will not have bump steer problems. If take a close look at your car when you lower the vehicle the wheel side of things stay in the same location but the inner tie rod and the LCA bushings move the exact same amount so bump steer will not change. I hope all that makes sense.

Just installed these springs plus LCA's, UCA, Ajustable panhard and camber plates all from hotpart.

Could not be happier with the product or the customer service.

Thanks a bunch , great company to deal with .
