Like the front end, really aggressive. The backend looks like they are trying to modernize it in anticipation of the camaro.

I like how it looks. But if that's how the spoiler is going to be, hopefully they've resolved those chipping issues that some people have run into.

You know it does seem to have a lot of subtle design ques similar to the camaro. But with the Camaro having a real V6, six speed, independant rear, It is gonna kick the 4.0"s ass on the sales floor.

If they price the Camaro right then yeah. The new Mustang should have the 3.7 and a 6 speed but not IRS. The IRS is going to make a big difference to anyone test driving them both. If the V6 Camaro comes out priced in the low 20s then it will be a great performance bargain.

I'm really not a big fan, at least not of the GT500. I think I still need to see it without camo before making my final decision but the headlights and all look a little small IMHO.

That GT500 looks mean. The standard stang looks more like the current Gt500

these are cute but can we keep the posts to actual photos? i mean i hate seeing these 3d models and concept sketches... besides we have the pics of the COWvertible already who need to even look at somebody's 3ds max project.

They are going to carry over the 4.0 for a couple of years. The motor going in is actually the 3.5. There is now way in hell ford will put a six speed in a v6. Hell they wont even give us the T-56. The Camaro is over 300 hp out of the gate. Any one driving the two back to back with run from the mustang. It is going to have to sell on pure looks alone. I love my car and might not ever give it up, but given the choice on new,,, well lets just say you would hate my choice.

Does not do much for me............it's kinda chasing the Camaro for looks, when the Camaro is really chasing the Mustang.....for popularity.

It's alot "Rounder" than the current S197 .. it's nice ... but not nice enough to make me want to sell mine and run out and buy a new one .... that's a relief! :)
It's alot "Rounder" than the current S197 ...
That's what I was thinking too. I hate it when cars lose their definition like
a half-used bar of soap. That's what drew me to our current S197's... the
defining lines of an incredible movement. I'm not implying that the 2010 looks
like a used bar of soap, but it seems to have lost a little of the something
that makes me love the way it is now.

I like it but I hate the ass end cause well it looks like ass, LOL! J/K! No I like it its just the rear bumper has way to much plastic on the bottom it needs to be less like the GT-CS/GT500 bumper thats a perfect proportion In my opinion.

IMO I don't think they will ever outdo the 05-09 models. I thought about trading my 4.0 in for a '10 GT but after seeing it I'm not sure.

to me its just not enough change to want to get it. im in the "waitin for camaro pricing" crowd before i make my next decision on cars.

The more i look at it the more i like it. Still not sure if I'd trade my current ride in. I'm waiting to see what they do with the new 5.0.
I came across some more pictures. Seems like Ford has a lot of 2010's running around with the "cow" camo on them. And, it looks like Grabber Blue will be back as a color.

I like the new wheels and the new grill on the V6 (what we can see of it). And did you notice that the camo now has the badges cut out so they show - guess Ford figured it wasn't fooling any of us anyway and we could tell it was a Mustang.

haha Ford follows suit once again. i may have something missed but if you notice the SVT version leads the way for styling and a few years later you see it somehow on the other Stangs

V6 front end looks good, nice wheel options and the mirrors look good. Definitely a more modern look.

wow oops i didnt realize the mirrors i was so focused on the slanted grill styling. im not really a fan of the color matched mirrors though. i think it looks better the way it was before or those retro mirrors from agent 47 that moose has

It almost looks like the openings on the sides of the V6 fascia could be for optional fogs.

hmm call me the devils advocate but i dont think fogs there would be all that great looking. mainly because they look like they would nee dto be those rounded rectangle ones to fit in there and somewhat fill in that space. just my dos centavos (.02)

I wish they'd have just left the S197 alone. They're f**king it up. I don't like it. One vote for "boo" here. I didn't like the '74s through '04s and they're screwing up again.

I pictured "The Dude" from The Big Lebowski saying "You're fücking it up" when I read that. I will say I like the V6 with the focus fogs but with the standard grille.

I agree with our resident sniper.
STOP SCREWING SH*T UP FORD!
i'm not like that plastic bumper. i'd prefer color matching.
That would be easy - just get the fastest color and it will be color matching!
On that note though, I wish we could see the tail of the V6. I'm wondering if they have the same bumper on both models with the GT getting cut and the V6 having a pre-formed area for a cut? It doesn't look from the profile like they have gone to a dual exhaust on the V6, the driver side shot doesn't reveal a muffler tip from what I can see but the bumpers look very similar on profile.

Man that rear bumper is hidous that plastic shit is really ugly if they got rid of that it would look so much better.
I don't find it bad - I'm trying to decide what the visual purpose is for it, although with the camo it is hard to really tell

I said before that i didnt really like the bumper all that much, and well, i still dont. I dont feel ford "f**d everything up" though. I still really like the front of it. I think it will awesome. i cant wait to see it without the camo!

Not so sure about that front, and that's the part I mind least, and really not liking the cobra. It just looks fat.

I am really liking this side profile. I love how the nose slopes forward like an old Shelby. The glass top rooof is a big draw for me as well. Also if you put in the fender vents from the Gt500, it will look killer. Still it would be at least two years before I could even think of a new car. That will give me time to see the engine choice shake out.
I found another picture of the V6 with a more head one shot to see the grill changes and bumper change

I thought the same, Saw 1 in person (a vert) with no camo. being ford employee has some perks.
Loved the new hood, horse and front end, side looks close to s197 but not sure about rear end yet

I've noticed that in all of these "spy" shots (I'm not so sure that Ford is really trying to hide the car given the fact that they are showing the badges now and there seems to be so many of them out) all of the Mustangs have different wheels, and none of the them are bullitts.
Not complaining, just noticed it. Because I like the new wheel options that are showing up in these shots.
