Code help?

[ESP v6]

I pulled a code for a guy today on an '06 Montego. it came back "fuel regulator circuit hot". i have no idea what this means and neither do a couple of other people i've asked. anyone have any ideas? any helps is great.

after talking to a friend who is a service tech. it came to my attention that stealers don't like it when people call asking for code info and they may have been yanking my chain on what it actually was. so for those who may know the DTC was P0004

the error seems right:

P0004 Fuel Volume Regulator Control Circuit High

just not sure what exactly it mean though...

only other thing i managed to find:

Cause-Wiring open circuit/short to positive, regulator control solenoid


perhaps clear the code and see if it returns?

i cleared the code i'll talk to the guy later today and see if it came back
