The filter only looks dirty because its a red filter that i put K&N Filter cleaner on which comes with Blue oil. The Intake had about 5k or so miles on it before I took it off to put my turbo on. I felt Noticeable gains from it, much more so than the steeda intake i had on previous to this one.
