im putting a 5.4 3v motor (f150 motor not gt500), in my 07 and was wondering if it is possible to make a gt supercharger work with that set up. i know the bracket would have to be costomized, but is there something that can be done? what is different with the two?

Why don't you just swap the 4.6l 3v heads over to the 5.4l 3v block? then it will hook right up. Looking at them though, they look to be the same heads... no?

Why don't you want to work with the 4.6L block? Now that the new 5.0 is out, you could really pick up a complete forged and stroked motor for less than some might think.

Mike tried this on mine, you need an intake adapter. JPC makes a 4.6 style intake for the 5.4, might want to try them. They may have an adapter. Whipple and Roush makes a blower for the 5.4 3V, I'd look into that. Actually the lower intake on my car is a Roush lower from thier kit.

I'd love to get my hands on a completely forged and stroked 4.6 at a decent price. That would be sweet!:039:

Indeed... I believe i've seen 2 complete built 4.6L 3v engines for around 5-6k... It doesnt get much better then that... thats cheaper then a stock 5.0. :029:
