I found this listed on DFWStangs.net and worked out a deal with the seller, after a guy on Ebay stiffed him for payment. I got everything in the box for $3000. It's an 8lb kit, with polished P1SC and the 2 core cooler, 42lb injectors, SCT 2400 95mm MAF, PP polished intake plenum and 75mm tb. He even had the intake tubes chrome plated. This kit was installed for the Dallas Autorama, and has less than 600 miles on it. It was uninstalled, boxed up and put up for sale, and I was lucky enough to get it!

Couldn't let the X-Men have all the fun! LOL!

Thanks ya'll!

@Waiting - Looking at a safe tune making right at 400hp for now. The rods in these motors have been known to let go around 450hp or so

@Furinox - Hopefully this next weekend. I'm going to call ATI Monday to verify whether I need to wait on the Focus fuel pump of not.

@Sober - That's the term I was looking for! LOL!

CONGRATULATIONS! (although I still wish it was a Kenne Bell, lol)!

$3,000 is an EXCELLENT deal, especially considering the plenum & tb, etc.... HOWEVER, I counted all the $$$ on the table & only counted $2,950.00. Where's the other $50??????

Oh... silly me, how did it get in my shirt pocket like that???? <sorry>, sigh

Anytime you want to head this way, just give a shout. We'll tear up the town!

I still want a KB, but the money was too good to pass up on this one. I have contemplated putting it up on Ebay and seeing if I could get close to $4000 for it though. There'd be a KB in my future for sure then!

great deal man so how much power do u expect to be pushing out and are u gonna run it with the zex? sorry if i repeated anyone elses question cause i didnt read the whole thread. Thanks man! I'm gonna start with a safe tune in the 380-400rwhp range (the canned tune was good for 380 on the '03 it came off of) and next year when I get the forged motor, I'll up the boost and go for something in the 500hp range. That should be enough for a little while! LOL!

The Zex is a definite possibilty too. I was thinking of selling it, but now I may just reinstall it and use a 75hp shot for a little extra get up and go!

And it looks like the only thing I'm missing (besides the fuel pump and boost gauge) is 2 hose clamps and a transition hose from the MAF to the intake pipe. If I use the stock MAF, I've got it covered, but I'll be using the SCT 2400 MAF and it's 4" in diameter, so I need a 4" to 3" transition coupler (the guy I got it from was using a scabbed together concoction that looks like it would kill the flow. I won't be using that!). I'll be ordering the coupler, the boost gauge and the mount this week, and hopefully I can pick up the fuel pump here locally.

Here's a new pic of everything all laid out, not much to it is there?! LOL!

I can not wait to see what kind of "b" button power you will be cranking out after you get the blower installed.I'm hoping to get her right around 400 hp. It's reasonably safe to take it to 425, but that's getting close to the limits of the stock connecting rods.

No problem. PM me if you need anything and I'll give you my number. If I was closer, I'd be there for the install. It would be nice to install something someone else made instead of F'ing around in unknown territory. I'm down to the last 30 minutes of my exhaust project and I can't get out of my chair! I just don't want to find another problem! lol

I'll go cry in my own thread a little later. :shake:
