New best time at BBII
Well as many of you know i broke my car last October at MIR and i took the car to Mike at Powerhouse to have Todd's heads and cams put on my car. I took Mike the car back in Feb. and until last wednesday i didn't think i was going to get the car back in time for the brawl, but Mike came through and brought me the car on Friday morning. Everyone was getting there car's ready (putting on DR'S and changing plugs) and some guys had already sarted to run. But here i was with no car, then Mike pulled up with my car on the trailer and we off loaded it and before Todd could get my number on my car i was at the starting line ready to go, I was so excited i was fumbling with the new line lock and trying to get the window up and all of a sudden the light turns green and i mat it to the floor and i spun the tires all the way past the 330' mark and then noticed i did't turn off the O/D.I ran a 14.8 and the car scared the hell out of me. So i came back and lined up again this time not so excited, the car hooked and ran like a bat outta hell and when i picked up my slip at the booth i couldn't believe it a 12.92 at 102 MPH with a 1.900 60' on 20" wheels and toyo street tires, a full tank of gas from Feb., a belt that's slipping and loosing me 2 lbs of boost at the top end and a sligtly larger driver.
Like Todd said, This car has 12.20's written all over it. I guess i can now say that i have the first vert in the 12's and proud of it.
Now to dial it in and hope to hit the low 12's by fall.
Thanks from all the support from you guys, I will push it a little harder and see where it takes me.
And as for that yellow 12.1 second car look out cause i'm commin for ya.

Congrats Joe. Doesn't this make you the first 4.0 Vert in the 12's?

Congrats on the great time Joe. Your car was truly awesome. It looks great too. I like it without the spoiler! Your spoiler makes Jordans car look better too!

Congrats Joe. I saw both your first and sceond run of the day. They were like night and day difference. I agree with Todd some DR's and more track time your car will be dialed in to low 12's and who know maybe high 11's when you get the belt issue figured out to get your boost back at the top end.
It still is not going to be enough, I have jets that go up to 175 shot so come and get some.

Joe, congrats on the new times. As we were talking about at the Brawl, new belt, DR's and fine tuning the gearing to optimize the centri/heads/cams combo and your time is going to whittle down fast. Your car really impresses me and I look forward to seeing some more results as the year progresses.

Congrats Joe, 12.9 in a vert, wow!
I agree the car looks sweet without the spoiler, maybe you can test fit the Foose and see which way you like it better.
