Bob, wouldn't you have more fun racing with your Collective friends at 75-80 Dragway?

Sunday is looking doubtful for me, but Saturday is "do-able". Their website says gates open Saturday at noon, with Test-N-Tune racing beginning at 1pm.

I met Bill and Tony at 75-80. I wasn't able to run as Bill noticed a band showing through my DR. Crap! I was hoping to last until after BB3 to get new DR's. Oh well. The pit area is half grass, and half paved. Paved part is old, but functional. The buildings and bleachers have been cleaned, repainted. All in all its a clean track.

The track itself has been repaved to the 1/8th. And all new timing equipment installed. It looks good, not much rubber yet but that should change once more big dog cars run it. I saw some cars that seemed to be hooking well. Their computer equipment was down, so will have to try again.

They seem to be big on safety which is good, and keep a good eye on the track. I have to run open lugs with my DR's. Thats a first. He said he has to see the studs to make sure they are long enough.

I got video and will post them up later. Here is some pics I took with the crackberry phone.

It wasn't a bad ride down but i was out of it well before the last cone. I didn't go over the hill at the end so im not sure how much further it goes, but there is a field somewere down there. At the 2nd exit looks like the return road has been cleaned up. I really like that you have to back into the water box. I know capitol makes it tough to not to hit the water.

The track has to be decent because theres funny cars coming next month. I liked it. Its not as big as other tracks but nice none the less.
