I highly, highly recommend Hawk pads and Powerslot rotors, and upgrade to stainless front lines,...you wont believe the improvement over stock!
You can do this at any decent brake shop. Brakes Plus does it.

The ony other thing I can think of is make sure to use the anti-squeal compound. FYI common thought is to use it behind the pads........ wrong...... it's for the bolts.
Hmmm, I've always used it behind the pad, never had it squeal.

I also use this stuff you get from Napa. Basically, it looks like a bottle of ink. You squirt it on the pads the night before you're gonna change them and let it soak in. Works like magic.

Will the GT stainless lines fit the V6? I checked modern mustang classics but couldnt find the stainless lines.

I had major brake fade issues when i road raced my stang. Planning on Powerslot rotors,Hawk pads and SS lines.
